Frequently Asked Questions

 

 

1. How long in advance should I book?

 

We advise booking well in advance is always best as this ensures that you get the castle that you really want from our range. Bookings can be as late as the same day, so long as we have availability.

2. Do I have to pay a deposit?

 

Yes, we ask for a £20  deposit. This deposit is non-refundable should you cancel the date. However if the booking goes ahead, providing that the Bouncy Castle is returned to us in good clean condition then the full deposit will be refunded to you. All we ask is that our equipment is respected and returned in the same condition that it was received.

3. What payment methods are acceptable?

 

We prefer that the deposit be paid via PayPal or Bank Transfer. The hire fee will only be accepted in cash on delivery, or if you prefer to pay the balance beforehand then this can also be done via PayPal or Bank Transfer.

Please note we do not have the equipment to be able to take card payments.

Cheques will also not be accepted.

4. Will you deliver to my area?

 

If you are unsure about the areas we deliver to once you have read Delivery and Set up, then please feel free to contact us.

 

5. Are castles suitable for indoor and outdoor use?

 

Yes our castles are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. This obviously depends on the height of the building that the castle will be placed in. Our advisers will advise which castle is most suitable for your indoor venue. Sand Bags will be used indoors to secure the anchor points on the castle. Castles will only be installed in ground floor rooms where there is easy access. Upstairs rooms will be considered if the hirer is prepared to assist moving the equipment to upper levels. This should be discussed when booking your castle. Please check with your venue on their ceiling height, so that we can assist you further.

6. Can I keep the castle over night or till late in the evening?

 

Please call for details

Our late evening charge will be an additional £5 per hour after 7pm, but please discuss with us prior to booking.

7. What do I have to do on the day?

 

All you have to do is follow your safe rules of play that will be given to you by our driver on the day. Our trained staff will do everything else. They will set up the castle and advise you on its safety instructions.Have fun!

8. What are your delivery and collection times ?

 

We can drop off and pick up any time between 10am and 7pm. This is entirely up to you. But please do contact us before booking to save the disappoiuntment of over booking.

9. What age range do children have to be to play on the castles?

 

As per the guide on our web site and your Terms and Conditions sheet, each castle has an age limit, so please be sure to check this. We realise that when a bouncy castle comes out everyone wants to get on and have a go, but please remember that these castles are designed for children and are built to their weight specification. Be warned if adults do bounce and castles are damaged you will be expected to cover the charges for repair. You as the hirer will have to sign to confirm that the castle has no damage prior to the driver leaving the castle in your care and at that point liability passes over to the hirer.

10. Do you charge for delivery?

 

We deliver within a 10 mile radius of UB5 absolutely FREE. However we do travel further, up to 25 miles of UB5, but each additional mile will be chargeable at 70p per mile.

11. How long can we have the castle?

 

You can have the castle for the whole day if you wish.

Any times between 10am and 7pm will be the stanard hire fee, if you require later there will be an additional cost. Please check before booking.

 

 

 

12. Can you pick the castle up the next morning?


Yes we can, please talk to us about your requirements.

 

 

 

13. What happens if something goes wrong?


We are here to help and will return to the venue to fix any issues concerning the castle hire free of charge.

 

 

14. How can you offer the castle so cheap?


Wizard Bouncy Castles offers its customers great value and customer service thus we get many repeat bookings helping us to keep costs down.

 

 

 

15. I need a castle immediately can you deliver at short notice?


Yes we can, providing that we have availability, we are just a phone call away.

 

 

 

 

16. Can we have the Bouncy Castle for more than one day?


Yes certainly, We have special rates for longer hires please let us know your requirements.

 

 

 

 

17. Can we hire more than one castle?


Yes you can, we normally get asked to provide a castle for the kids and a castle for adults

18. What will happen in the case of bad weather?

 

If there is a light shower the inflatable can continue to be used with extra care. Iin the event of heavy rain, we ask that all users get off of the Bouncy Castle, however the Bouncy Castle must be left inflated this prevents the water from pooling on the Castle and seeping through. Once the heavy rain has eased off simply dry any excess water on the Castle with a towel and users can resume using the inflatable. 

 

In the event of heavy rain before delivery we may contact you to discuss a FREE date change, as we cannot provide the inflatable in really bad weather, for the protection of the users.

If you request to cancel due to bad weather, in this situation the deposit is non-refundable however we will offer it to you on an alternative date of your choice (where available).
